be
human

The greatest question of our age is...
what does it mean to be human?
And this is where the church has such an opportunity right now.
We have a very clear answer to what it means to be human in an age of technology:
returning to the image of God.
And the only way to do this is to attend to the presence of Jesus, the True Human (Col 1:15).
BUT HERE'S THE PROBLEM.

Funny enough,
J.T. Reeves met with Dr. Doug Sweeney,
a leading church historian,
and asked what has become
the CORE question of THP...
"How do we build infrastructure
for a spiritual awakening?"
Sweeney's answer was immediate.
"There are three key practices during major
moves of God that nearly always take place:
1) Prayer.
2) Word-based small groups.
3) Storytelling."
In the last few years, we've begun hearing rumblings of in Gen Z and now Gen Alpha.
In this generation’s desperation to find our true selves, we're seeking the True Human.
Yet we have little long-term infrastructure for commitment to prayer, the Word, and the story of the Church.
THP exists to help build that infrastructure for younger generations to see Jesus rightly and recover our humanity.
Taking from Dr. Sweeney, we do this in three main ways...
